quinti.net archive
Between 2003 and 2011 I maintained quinti.net, a pioneering Spanish-language portal about web accessibility, information architecture and W3C standards. Its resources were cited as bibliography by universities (UCM, UNAM, UCI-Cuba). The domain now redirects here — with its history on its back.
1,427 pages recovered from the Wayback Machine and served from this domain, with no toolbar and no external dependencies. It is a faithful snapshot: internal links may lead to pieces that were never archived; the treasures are in the gallery below. The archive itself is kept in its original Spanish.
The gems
Final degree project: «E-administración Accesible» (2008–2009)
The real proyecto final de carrera for the UOC Multimedia Graduate programme — “Strategic front-end design of usable, accessible e-government systems” — recovered from dev.quinti.net: 25 pages, the full memoria (report), its PDF, the October 2008 draft and the original logo. (period HTML)
Memoria of the final degree project (PDF, 2009)
The written report of «E-administración Accesible» as submitted: summary, justification, objectives, users, tools, resources and references. The full PDF, byte-for-byte from the era. (PDF)
Evolution of the W3C Web Accessibility Guidelines
The document cited as bibliography by UCM, UNAM and UCI-Cuba (in Spanish). 11 pages, recovered in full. (PDF)
Blog: the “Graduado Multimedia” series (2008)
Writing about the degree he finishes in 2027 — 18 years earlier. Includes “¿Qué es el Graduado Multimedia?” (What is the Multimedia Graduate?). (period HTML)
Blog: Paris Autumn Salon · Arte Galicia 2006
Coverage of the exhibition that crossed over with the in-person show in Sarria: Noël Coret, Jacques Mercier, José Díaz Fuentes… (period HTML)
Paris–Sarria 2006 virtual exhibition
The online multimedia photo exhibition of the “Espacios del Camino Francés”. (period HTML)
PEC 3 on Accessibility (UOC)
Exercises from the Master’s in Accessible Technologies: conversion to XHTML 1.0, headings and lists, tables and forms, and longdesc experiments — Russian hamster included. (period HTML)
MTA Module 4 project: accessible administration (2009)
The end-of-module exercise for the master’s Accessible Web Content Management module — a valid, accessible XHTML/CSS site. Not the final degree project (that one is above), but a fine period piece, complete with its accessible site map. (period HTML)

The quinti.net home exactly as Wayback archived it. (period HTML)
About the final degree project’s recovery
«E-administración Accesible» lived on dev.quinti.net, a development subdomain, so it was not part of the 1,427-page main-portal recovery. It has now been recovered separately: the site declares itself “por Jesús Quintana como proyecto final de carrera para Graduado en Multimedia” (October 2008 – April 2009). The October 2008 draft declaring itself as such is preserved too. One honest note: the original css/style.css was never captured by any crawler, so the stylesheet you see is a 2026 reconstruction from the DOM, the logo palette and the design conventions of the era — every text, image and the PDF are original.

For researchers
Did you arrive here from an academic citation? The most-cited resource is “Evolución de las Pautas de Accesibilidad al Contenido en la Web del W3C” (Evolution of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, in Spanish). The full archive is also on the Wayback Machine. If you’re looking for something specific you can’t find, write to me.
